როცა ვიყავი პატარა ბავშვი,
ჰეი-ჰო, ქარი ქროდა და წვიმდა
და სისულელე მართობდა მაშინ,

როცა დავკაცდი და გავხდი მკაცრი,
ჰეი-ჰო, ქარი ქროდა და წვიმდა,
ქურდებს ეხშობათ კაცთაგან კარი,

ავაჰმე! როცა შევირთე ცოლი,
