ოქროს აკვნებში იცინიან დანუს წულები,
თვალმილულულნი ტაშს უკრავენ, ისმის რაკუნი,
ჩრდილოეთისკენ გაფრინდება თეთრი ფასკუნჯი
და გაჰყვებიან ფრთების ქნევით, ცივი გულებით. 

ჩემს ატირებულ ჩვილს ვამშვიდებ, როცა ძახილი
ვიწრო სამარის გვეყურება ძრწოლის მომგვრელი,
მოხეტიალე ზღვას დასტირის ქარი მგლოველი
და მიესწრაფვის მზის დასაბუდს მბრწყინავს სახმილით.

სამოთხის ჭიშკრებს ზოგჯერ მისი სუნთქვა ეხება,
ან ჯოჯოხეთის ბჭეებს ახლის ლანდებს ავქარი, 
მიმზიდველია დაუმცხრალი სულთა ლაშქარი, 
ვიდრე სანთლები ღვთისმშობელი დედის ფეხებთან.
